Four Stories and a New Archive — Author’s Notes #10
The stories you may have missed, plus a look at the new story archive
Updates: the New Archive
I realized that due to the growing number of stories available, my archive needed a facelift to be more user friendly.
Stories are now sorted by collection. Collections are sorted in reverse chronological order of publishing date.
Here’s a peek:
You’ll notice many of these stories are now marked as paid.
If you never got the chance to read the Stasis collection, or Montauk, I’d be honored if you consider upgrading your subscription to read them.
I think you get a lot of content for five bucks, and you’d be helping my writing career as well.
In Case You Missed it:
The email inbox is a chaotic place these days. I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss these three free stories — and one paid — that I published in January.
If you only have time for one, I recommend the Sigil. A lot of readers really connected with it!

Michael Serves the Secret Soup 1/2📚
People have always felt a strong urge to tell him their secrets. But a revelation during a recent confession upends everything Michael has ever known.
Michael Serves the Secret Soup 2/2📚
A police consultant with an uncanny knack for getting confessions learns the truth behind his “gift”
A father makes a sacrifice to protect his family and business from an all-consuming force. But will it be enough?
What’s Next
I’m starting to feel a bit silly for having the [REDACTED] masthead up for a full month without revealing it. Progress is actually going much faster than I expected. I’ve written about a third of it in just one week. But I’m still trying to at least finish my first draft before I start publishing.
I may create a mini collection to tag all of these stories that have released in the interim. I’m thinking something like: Everyday Criminals. We’ll see.
In the meantime, thanks for reading!
Thank You for Reading!

If you don’t have the money for a paid subscription, telling a friend about me is pretty cool too. Getting your words in front of eyeballs is honestly harder than doing the actual writing and editing…
