Space, Chief Engineer Noah Morgan decided, did not agree with him. The burnt metal smell that filled his sinuses; the sensation of hanging in the air ; but most of all it was the noise. The oppressive drone of air fans and carbon scrubbers never ceased.

No, space did not agree with him. Yet the prospect of leaving, saddened him. Where could you beat the view of hurricanes, clouds, and orange daylight breaking the edge of the planet?
